  I’m extremely disappointed with the level of service at Škoda A-Point Service Amsterdam. I bought a brand-new car in September, and recently an oil warning appeared on the dashboard. I contacted the agent who sold me the car, and he told me it was likely an electronic error and that I could go to any service point without an appointment just to have it checked - car is in warranty! The closest location to me was A-Point Service Amsterdam. When I arrived, I was told they wouldn’t even look at the car without an appointment — and the earliest slot was in 3–4 weeks. When I explained what the sales agent had told me, the response was simply that it was “false” and that you always need an appointment. I asked about a substitution car, and the answer was yes — but only if I paid for it myself. The only other option offered was to leave the car there without any estimate of when it would be ready. I was literally told it could take 1 hour, 1 day, or even 1 week. That is not the level of service I expected after buying a brand-new car. Fortunately, after contacting the dealer where I purchased the car, they arranged an appointment for the next day, and the issue was checked and resolved in 30 minutes. It seems that the various dealerships (or just this one) work separately and are only concerned with customers who have purchased vehicles at their shop. This experience at A-Point Service Amsterdam was frustrating, unhelpful, and far below what I expect from an official Škoda service center.

  I had the pleasure of using A-Point to collect my new lease car and it was excellent service start to finish. Huge thanks to Daan Förch for making me feel so comfortable and valued, and spending all the time in the car walking me through every setting and button. This was my first fully electric car so Daan really invested time in helping me get 100% ready to drive out the front gate. Thank you so much

  I had a very smooth experience with A-Point ŠKODA Amsterdam, from the moment an appointment was made until I left the gate. I have to thank Daan Förch for the attentive service and expertise, he took the time to walk me through all the main features, which I really appreciated - although I had a fairly similar car before, I got so much more (and useful!) information to make the most of my Skoda Elroq.
